Abstract
POSITION DE L’ACIO/CANO
- Cette certification spécialisée pour les infirmières autorisées témoigne de l’excellence des connaissances et de la pratique en oncologie face au public, aux patients/familles et aux employeurs.Â
- Les infirmières autorisées qui travaillent principalement avec des patients atteints d’un cancer ou dans le système de soins liés au cancer obtiennent cette certification en oncologie après leur cinquième année de pratique.Â
- Les organismes qui dispensent des services en oncologie visent à ce qu’au moins 75 % de leurs infirmières admissibles soient certifiées en oncologie.Â
