Évaluation d’un programme de formation sur la douleur chronique cancéreuse à l’intention des infirmières

Abstract


Un devis corrélationnel descriptif a été utilisé pour évaluer l’efficacité d’un programme de formation sur la gestion de la douleur chronique cancéreuse. L’enquête « Nurses Knowledge and Attitude Survey Regarding Pain (NKAS) » a été utilisée pour l’évaluation du programme. Un échantillon de convenance de 27 infirmières a été recruté dans le cadre de l’étude. L’analyse des données a révélé une différence significative entre les résultats au prétest et au post-test de la NKAS. Aucune corrélation importante n’a été observée entre les variables de l’étude. La faible taille de l’échantillon de convenance empêche toute généralisation des résultats. Selon la conclusion globale de l’étude, le programme de formation améliorait efficacement les connaissances et les attitudes liées à la gestion de la douleur chronique cancéreuse. L’article signale les implications pour la pratique, la recherche, la formation et l’administration infirmières.
