Élaboration des normes canadiennes de soins infirmiers en thérapie cellulaire
Abstract
Les soins infirmiers en thérapie cellulaire sont une spécialité qui prend rapidement de l’ampleur, vu les récents et multiples progrès des technologies de thérapie cellulaire et d’immunothérapie. La Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT) a normalisé les attentes de formation envers les infirmières exerçant dans ce domaine complexe; toutefois, une recension de la littérature a mis en évidence une lacune notable dans l’élaboration et la mise en œuvre de normes canadiennes complètes, fondées sur des données probantes et propres à la thérapie cellulaire. Il est donc nécessaire de poursuivre la définition des compétences normalisées qui aident les infirmières à prodiguer des soins sûrs, efficaces et axés sur le patient dans ce paysage thérapeutique complexe.
Pour ce faire, le comité des soins infirmiers de Transplantation et thérapie cellulaire Canada/Cell Therapy Transplant Canada (CTTC) s’est associé à l’Association canadienne des infirmières en oncologie (ACIO/CANO) pour élaborer des normes nationales sur les soins infirmiers en thérapie cellulaire inspirées des normes de pratique et des compétences de l’ACIO/CANO à l’intention des infirmières spécialisées en oncologie. Cette approche garantit l’arrimage aux principes reconnus de soins oncologiques sans négliger la complexité propre à la thérapie cellulaire.
Les Normes canadiennes de soins infirmiers en thérapie cellulaire (CTTC, 2025) fournissent un cadre de formation et un cadre clinique pour soutenir les infirmières travaillant dans ce domaine spécialisé. Elles permettent aussi d’harmoniser les compétences et d’encourager la création d’une communauté d’excellence dans ce domaine, favorisant ainsi l’uniformité des soins infirmiers en thérapie cellulaire au pays. Pour soutenir la mise en œuvre des normes, deux ressources d’accompagnement ont été créées : un outil d’évaluation des besoins d’apprentissage en thérapie cellulaire et un parcours d’apprentissage structuré. Ces ressources orientent l’élaboration de plans d’apprentissage individuels, de programmes institutionnels et de curriculums de formation propres aux soins infirmiers en thérapie cellulaire.
